firstly we would like to thank you for taking the time and interest to visit our info site, and

hope that over the course of this page we will be able to provide you with all the

information needed to take your first steps in this unique martial arts style.....

please take all the time you need to read through this information, as with all the

information provided on this "Bushido Combat Academy"  info site, we at Bushido Kai want you to feel totally comfortable with everything we have to offer here, before you decide to take that first all important step on your Martial arts journey to Black belt and beyond. we know that whether you have done some kind of martial art in the past or if you are completely new to it, that taking those first steps can be a daunting task. we also know that many of our

students had always wanted to do it in the past but had never got round to starting due to

this fact. so please feel free to make as many visits to our site as you need to make sure

you have all the answers to your understandable questions. should there still be any

Getting started

 

getting started at the Bushido Combat Academy could not be easier.

once you have read through our information and made your decision that you want to take part in this unique Martial art, (please remember to vist our "Training programmes" page to take a look at the 3 areas of training we offer ) check through our class timetable below and choose from one of the many classes we have running throughout the week. although not all classes may not be the most local to you, you are however able to attend any of the classes listed. once you have made your choice then just pop along and introduce yourself to the class instructor, to start your 

 

"2 WEEK BEGINNERS TRIAL" 

 

for this period you may wear your own (loose) clothing and bring a water based drink with

you.. each class you take part in will be free to you during this 2 week period, and you may

attend as many classes as you  like.. we feel that this gives you an ideal opportunity to see

what our classes are like, and how much fun our system is before laying out money for

something you may not enjoy? this way you have the peace of mind that you are taking part

in a style you want to be part of and we in turn have new starters that  are serious about

training with us, and are ready to give the effort and dedication needed to become a true

martial artist.. after these 2 weeks should you wish to continue you will be required to register with us to become a

 

FULL CLUB MEMBER 

 

by completing your enrolment application form (for our records), and your your student

mandate form, outlining the Membership package you wish to take - At this time a student

insurance form (for you member to member insurance policy) must also be completed by

the student wishing to train, this is a government required insurance that ALL martial arts

practitioners must have in order to train.. An initial registration fee for this is generally £50

for a new student and this includes your first years insurance. your student insurance policy

is then renewed each year at £20..(Renewal date November 1st) in additional to this you will be required to purchase you training uniform (£60)

However at Bushido Kai we are currently offering you a special promotion, with an Initial fee of only £50 (juniors)  £60 (Adults) and this one off fee NOT ONLY includes your club registration,  but also your FULL uniform AND you will be added to our Insurance records for FREE until the First renewal date of that year. (November 1st)  - our current promotion also includes an additional FREE club T-shirt for our Juniors  (**special  end of year promotion)

 

this shows that your safety & enjoyment is more important to us than your money.

once these forms are completed and returned to us with the required package, you will be a

full member of our club and will receive your attendance/ belt grade student card along

with copies of your tuition package outline, you will also be accepted as a site

member allowing you access to the MEMBERS ONLY sections of our site, as well as all

the benefits that our club has to offer.

2 Week Beginners Trial (Outlined) & Class prices

 

 As a new starter with us, we will allow you to “feel” your way in, and give you the

opportunity to train for the first 2 weeks without having to commit fully yet by completing

your registration. You are not required to pay for the class you are attending and can use

this period to see how you like what we have to offer you?.. After these 2 weeks you can

then decide if you would like to continue training with us and are therefore ready to

dedicate yourself to taking your journey through the martial arts with us at Bushido Kai.

This gives you an ideal opportunity to become a Bushido-Kai student without an up front

fee, so you can get started and enjoy the training without the worry of laying out big sums of money. you can train as many times within this 2 week period, in as many classes as you wish,and then You can decide if you want to continue, there is NO obligation to Register

unless YOU wish to do so!.  Upon completing the trial you can then give your details to the

instructor and become registered as a full club member. 

 

The club itself covers the cost of your first 2 weeks Insurance, but this will automatically

expire after these 2 weeks, and it is then up to you to continue it, through your registration

through Bushido Kai. You don't need a uniform to start your "2 week Beginners trail", you can train in tracksuit bottoms and a T-shirt, but later when you are ready to become a "Full member", a uniform is required and are available to order through your class instructor.

We know that there are many clubs out there, and they all have something good to offer.

However without wanting to sound big headed in any way, we at “Bushido-Kai” feel we have

a system of Martial arts that are unrivalled anywhere in this country, and maybe the world?

We also know what a big step it can be for some people to finally take that plunge into

something new, even if they have wanted to do it for ages but never got round to it? So we

try to give as many people as we can the option to take up (what we feel) is the most reality

based & in every way Complete martial arts system available today

We at Bushido Kai are not one of those clubs after your money – We want

your Dedication! We know that once you have tasted the feeling you get from taking part in

one of our classes, that you will never look back, so why not take a trail and  “Just Do

It!” and let us, help you – to a new YOU.

 

MEMBERSHIP FEES

 

At Bushido Combat Academy we operate a Membership scheme, that is broken down into monthly payments - this means that you do not actually pay for classes as such, but the membership package you chose, will determine the amount of access you have to our sessions. the higher the membership you require, the greater the access you have. we see this as a simple way to keep all the hassel of paying for things out of the classroom and lets our instructors focus on what they are

good at "Teaching great martial arts - to potentially great martial artists"
